The production of embroidered patches and emblems is a type of decoration that repeatedly returns to the fashion world.
It remains a constant demand across the world of armed forces, sports groups, and associations, as well as in the realm of workwear. To create patches, embroidered patches, and emblems capable of satisfying such a broad range of customers with very diverse needs, traditional methods are no longer sufficient; it is necessary to use:
- technologies such as the SL-10 laser bridge
- stand alone machines such as Performa 500
to guarantee cutting precision of the external edge and high productivity.
The production of embroidered patches and emblems presents two main critical issues:
- the first linked to the laser cutting of the external edge to be performed before or after the final cover stitch,
- the second linked to cutting the shape of the product after laminating the embroidered material, to allow gluing with hot presses.
To eliminate these critical issues, SL10 laser bridge can create embroidered patches, labels and emblems directly on the finished garment or for production without lamination with hot glue, cutting the elements directly on the frame of the embroidery machine.
However, when lamination is required, it is possible to use our products equipped with a camera and ESD vision system to perform the perimeter cut directly from the laminated rolls in a fast and clean way.
The camera can be installed in all Seit products and thanks to the ESD (Embroidery Shift Detection) system it guarantees perfect compensation between the cutting profile and the tension of the embroidery, due to the tension of the stitches.
